ACTION!

iERA’s mission is a global one and it is important that the world knows about our organisation. With all the technology available today it is easier than ever to achieve this. You can play a huge part in spreading the word.

 

Mailing Lists

  • Sign up to all the iERA Mailing Lists (iERA, Misson Dawah, Muslim Now, One Reason and The BIG Debates)

  • When you receive an email from any of the iERA Mailing Lists, forward it to your personal contact lists as well as general mailing lists (e.g. ISOC), if you have access to them or know people who do

  • When Action Alerts are issued:

    • Respond to them straight away and forward to your contacts urging them to do the same
    • Share them on Facebook and Twitter
    • Post them to onto forums and message boards

  • When Press Releases are sent out:
    • Forward them to your contact list
    • Share them on Facebook and Twitter
    • Post them to onto forums and message boards

Events

  • When an iERA event is taking place in your locality, you may be contacted by a member of the iERA team to help out with promotions on-the-ground, which may include:

    • Handing out promotional flyers
    • Putting up posters in Masques, Community Centres etc
    • Notifying local newsletters or mailing lists
    • Spreading news of the Event and of iERA via:

      • Word of Mouth
      • Social Media
      • Posting on forums and message boards
      • Sending out SMS's to friends, family and contacts

Campaigns

  • You may be contacted to help support future iERA Campaigns such as 'Bags of Happiness' or 'iERA Panorama Campaign'

  • You will be tasked with distributing relevant information, leaflets or flyers in a specific area

  • As mentioned previously you can help to spread news of the campaign via the methods detailed in this section
